Clicker Training Books and E-Books by Kay Laurence

Kay Laurence is a foremost British Clicker Trainer who has taught many people. She has a series of books, which are also out as ebooks, and I have the first two of them:

Clicker Foundation Training has great background information and 15 "recipes" or projects. See the Clicker Training section of my blog for lots of details of how I am using this with my Rottweiler. I think these are very good manuals, which is why I chose to use them myself.

Here are the recipes in Clicker Foundation Training... you have to read it to understand what some of the titles mean! Or read my blog posts and you can see what I'm doing there!

  1. Luring Zones
  2. Luring Poses
  3. Giving the Click Value
  4. Touch Back of Hand
  5. Paw Tap
  6. The Table Game
  7. Changing the Cue
  8. Learning Shaping
  9. Sleepy?
  10. Hold It There
  11. Table Game 2
  12. Targeting to Mat
  13. Adding Strength
  14. Target Stick Training
  15. Sit Beg with Target Stick

Clicker Novice Training is the second in the series, and follows the same recipe format. Its dozen recipes are:

  1. Paw Wave
  2. Capturing Different Sits
  3. The Price of Chicken
  4. Free Shopping Side Stepping

  6. Reliability to Cue
  7. Everywhere and Anywhere
  8. Reward Variation

  10. Control in Anticipation
  11. Bend to Drop or Down

Both of these books are available at Amazon.com. Here's the link for Clicker Foundation Training:
